Welcome to Hope Food Pantry Austin’s (Hope) website.  Our volunteers and donors are dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing bags of groceries to families in our community. Hope provides approximately 2-3 days worth of groceries to about 90 families a week and 1000 individuals per month.

To help alleviate hunger by distributing groceries to families in need.

General Information

Hope Food Pantry Austin (Hope) volunteers distribute groceries to approximately 90 families a week and approximately 1000 individuals a month. Hope’s doors open every Thursday and Friday mornings starting at 10a.m. Many of our clients are older adults, single parents, the homeless, people with disabilities, unemployed or under-employed. Generous donations allow Hope to continue distributing the basic nutritional staples of rice and beans, canned fruit and vegetables, tuna, pasta and pasta sauce, and a few choice items each week.  Hope is funded by individuals, churches, grants and fundraisers. Reference materials for other surrounding food pantries and health and human services are also at hand for the clients.

2014: 13,045 individuals.
